Going off of the giant list I made from last week’s playtest, many of the larger issues that came up have been fixed, and several other parts have been reorganized or removed entirely since I can’t remember why I thought they would be a fun feature to have to begin with. Lots of work has also been done on making the UI more intuitive and guide the player through what exactly it is they’re supposed to be doing each day.
Some of the highlights:
- Reworked update system to be easier to understand
- Redesigned computer UI to be more visually appealing and understandable
- Reworked email program to be more visually appealing
- Added several additional tasks to explain to the user what they should be doing
- Added basic support for dragging in-game windows
And many others that I’m probably forgetting.
The next public demo is scheduled for March 2; I might have something ready to publish online by then, I might not. No promises this time. The game will be ready when it’s ready.
