Most of the past week was spent creating new character and dialogue for them. The goal at the moment is to have enough content for five in-game days, including dialogue options and different events that can occur based on the actions you take.
For example, in this screenshot we have Kurt. Kurt hates his job. However, Kurt needs to keep his job. Kurt is about to be fired. Kurt wants you to find a way to stop him from getting fired. Whether or not you decide to help him is up to you, and there can be some significant changes based on your decision.
Now imagine branching scenarios like this for half a dozen characters while making the dialogue good.
This week I plan to work on the stealth elements of the game, which I’ve been avoiding since there hasn’t been enough in place to get it to work. Now that guards and cameras are working, and the game world can react to those scenarios, it’s time to stop neglecting it.
