The past month or so was spent adding a new system to the game: day trading. The player (you) can trade commodities on the company dime with the goal of turning a profit. If you turn a profit by the end of the workday, you get a commission based on your total profits. This money can then be used to purchase illicit goods for your night work. This came about because I realized the player needed a good timesink between their daily work and talking with other employees, and it also encourages the player to periodically check the market to see what’s doing well and how they should be executing their trades.

The outside environment has also been changed. Instead of a dreary downtown setting, it’s been moved to a more greener and vibrant area. One excellent tool that’s helped with making tiles is Tilesetter, which makes creating tilesets from a base block and borders as easy as it can be.
Work on the trailer is also still in progress, currently waiting on capsule art to be delivered so I can fill in the missing gaps.
Overall, progress has been good, and I hope to have the Steam page out and ready by the end of the month.
