Devlog 54: Returning

I missed making a post last month and almost missed it again this month only because I’ve been spending all of my time rebuilding the core mechanics of the game. The good news is that it’s almost done, and an update should be available within the next couple of months. Most of these changes are for light detection and guard behavior, as well as countless backend changes to make things run smoother and easier for me to build on in the future. There have also been some changes to the Trainyard level to make it somewhat easier to navigate as well as a checkpoint system.

Additionally, I’m in the process of getting help from other artists to assist with a complete makeover of the game’s visuals in the style I’ve been looking for.

That’s going to be the whole post since I have lots of work to get back to, but in short:

  • The game is still being worked on
  • Progress is being made
  • There is no set release date yet
